You haven't been around during the many, many times over the decades of
my still ordinary life when other companions aren't feeling that way
about me, Eddie. Like anyone else, I can be pretty hard to put up with
when I'm coming from my ego-driven personality side. Perhaps, by
practicing the awareness game I am finally starting to get the hang of
it.

You might say the awareness game is a game to play when we wake up and
realize we aren't being easily loveable, and we remember that we are free
to play it any way that we choose if we can go on being awake for a
little while and can have the Will to *do* whatever we decide to do then.
Whatever it is that is happening, we can always "come to," and jump into
the lightened playing field of mindful calm and clarity within and around
us, and start playing the awareness game in any way we like that comes to
us . . . . . and just see what happens.
That's the only way that I know of to find out.
