We all have a little of All of them.

Yes, that's so, Me2. But just a little bit. A person might have just a
little bit of Dictator in them, but a lot of Con Artist, say. Since the
theme of "Dictator" as to do with being able to do things competently, we
all have enough Dictator in us to learn to tie shoes, but only a few of
us have enough of this trait to build houses. And very few of us are so
loaded up with Dictator patterns that we gain control of the politics of
our countries and push armies into other countries.

In our study, as you correctly pointed out, we all have a little of the
themes of the eight types playing out in our lives, and our task is in
seeing if we can recognize which three of the types are most prevalent in
the over-all act that we most often put on the stage in relating with
others.

Learning to recognize these after they have happened, can become
recognizing them when they are happening (and being able to step aside).
And this can even become recognizing them (the situations that they come
up in) before they have happened, so as to, for instance, play the
awareness game again on the spot.

When you see a trait show up in a person that doesn't fit with the three
most prevalent types that you felt you had observed, simply realize the
person has some of that type, too. Over time, you may see this later
type show more prevalance, and even surpass the others as a primary type
in your observations, or maybe it will disappear for long periods, as it
is.

As we have seen in my own experience today with that woman caller,
personality is maleable yet tenacious. So, if something new comes along
that surpasses all that you'd seen up to then, that is probably more
primary than you had recognized previously.

Good question. Remember, me2 that we are not looking for hidden, obscure
thigs. We are on the watch for the things that the the most blatant,
most obviouvs and most apparent, right there before our eyes.

And, if you please, the job of recognizing how to tell the difference
between a lot of a certain type, and a little of a certain type, lies
with you, as you go forward in this type of study.
