Harmony

Hi All.
I thought I'd put this on top so the page doesn't run out yet I'm not
sure if this plays with the following posts as I’m inept when it comes
to anything musical but I did find something interesting about a year ago.
I’d been looking at the “meaning” of “harmony” in interpersonal
relations and found an interesting musical demonstration designed for
kids by the SF symphony.

Once on the entry page, The Music Lab, click on “Harmony” and then “The
SFS Harmonizer” and follow the directions. There you can “hear” how
different harmonies (our contribution) alters the feel of the melody
(another’s contribution) changing the same melody from happy to sad to
scary depending (our) harmony’s contribution. One’s contributions can
change the song (feeling, mood) without altering the melody!
All the best, john the younger
