I am very sad today. John was a dear friend to me. If ever such a
friend of mine had died, John would be the first person I would reach
out to. I am trying to imagine what he would say to me. He might tell
me to just try to feel what I am feeling. He might point out the that
the sadness makes my stomach feel hollow and empty or how my chest is
constricted and heavy. He might tell me that it is ok that I feel that
way and it just is. He once taught me that it is easier to cry if I
actually got down on my hands and knees and took the weight off the
frame of my body so I could release some of the tension in my upper
body. It is hard to imagine him gone. I will truly miss this great
man. One of my favorite thing he used to say to me was "Are you in
there behind those eyes?".
Along with other friends, I helped him get this "great expirement on
the web" (as he called it) going. I have been responsible for the
technical pieces of it and will continue to keep the website up and
running. There is a lot more learning and teaching that can go on here
and as long as I am able I will keep the website up and running.
John was a very special man and touched many lives. I wish peace and
healing to all those out there affected by this sad event.
