I was wrong for putting so much pressure on you to step up and be “a
student” coach. And when I realized you were taking it as me wanting
you to be my teacher I didn’t debunk that on the spot, I let that ride
to increase the pressure, and that was wrong. Now looking back on it
here, that maneuver was way to close to an out and out lie on my part;
which I sincerely regret because it was ‘wrong’, and not just because
it back fired on me.
I should have made it clearer from that point that I was in no way
wanting you to be here in that capacity at all, especially for me
personally. My whole intention has purely been to rally the troops,
for reasons I’ve already ‘over’ stated. Yet as it seems here now not
so clearly, as it has obviously been more often than not
misunderstood, and I am honestly and gladly taking full responsibility
for that distortion right now.
I wanted you here for the women mostly, but in general as well. We
strongly disagree on so many ‘fundamental’ levels, but that does in no
way mean that I devalue your participation here.
It’s the communities over all participation that helps support me, not
anyone’s specific work program, whether it’s about the wheel or any
other work principle.
I’ll attempt to be more forth right with any further communications we
might be having.
And I’ll add one last observation; that historically speaking here at
TTFMT Classroom Talk, active participation has been most robust at
times that I have gracefully bowed out.
But when I had came back after so long a silence the year before John
died, and saw the almost complete and long extended inertia it broke
my heart. And that has been my fundamental driver since.
