John, I think you have written a thoughtful and wonderful attempt at
not only allowing me to "see" what might be holding my interaction up
but also a fine retuning of the focus back to the awareness work right
here on this site.
When I was "reacting" from all of the the text Eddie placed on this
site it wasn't that I didn't want people to use other tools that were
available (certainly use any tool and read as much as possible, and
hopefully work with a "teacher" in the real world!), my concern was
that when so much of it is referenced here it was as if the other
practice (in this case Allmas) was the fuller topic. Thereby losing
what is in abundance here at this site, created by John. My concern
was that we would all be firing back and forth from this author and
that author and not actually responding from heart and soul to the
fullness that is here. Not using awareness but quoting other's who had
discovered their own way to awareness.
I agree fully that the aware presence is what should be looked at to
solve problems that arise.
