I feel like it’s important for me to mention to start with that
although Shinzen is likely a well known practitioner to most I am not
at all familiar with him as a teacher; And that this particular study
and clinical connection and suggested incorporation with Science that
he is talking about has been being researched quit extensively for a
number of years now by many experts including the close observations
of experienced practitioners in clinical sitting, of which I have
almost no knowledge of, but that others that may be looking on here
may very well have. And in my happening onto this clip, I picked up on
the fact that Shinzen himself seemed to have had some sort of trouble
with some kind of addiction? So I have no idea of the man's overall
character or to his status as a legitimate Mindfulness practitioner or
teacher in general. I simply (personally) found this particular talk
he has given here to be very interesting and even somewhat for me
anyway enlightening, and even inspirational. And it also seemed to tie
into what is presented here at Teaching Tools for Mindfulness Training
overall as well as some of the more resent investigations,
experiments, conversations and studies going on here in Classroom
Talk.

Sincerely;

Eddie
