Hey JTY & All,

Thanks very much for sharing this memory today JTY! I'm a 'boomer' so I
actually remember watching Red Skelton and enjoying many other
variety/comedy shows on a big clunky black and white TV back in those
days! It's from a by-gone era with no color and HD on flat screens!

I don't remember that particular skit, but your description is so good
that I can clearly imagine it being performed on Skelton's show. And
the analogy that you use to demonstrate how our thinking minds can
create active fictions that sneak up on us to translate those thoughts
into the sometimes pleasant but often uncomfortable feelings within our
bodies is right-on; just like the Boy from the skit painfully
expressed, "I sssssssscared myself."

I also remember John describing how quickly our thoughts can travel to
be felt as feelings within our bodies as a transmutational experience
with the descriptive phrase, "Once the brick hits your foot it's too
late to vote on it!".

Best,

Scot
