There are still a few of us that are still posting here on Classroom
Talk with some regularity. Anyone checking in at this message board or
the tutorial sections and notices that this forum is still in existence
and strong five years after the site's founder, John B. has passed will
see evidence of the lasting strength and influence of John's work with
mindfulness and awareness practice.
I've been a posting at Classroom Talk for five years, but there are many
other participants that have been involved since the very early days of
the site's original inception. Classroom Talk has always been a
consistent, on-line presence since the time that I first got involved,
but I must confess that although I'm very grateful that it's still here
I've taken the site's existence for granted.
The transitional period of time after John passed away during those
difficult days in the summer of 2007 was a stressful time filled with
grief, but Brent immediately took care of business to ensure that the
site would stay up and running. Perk took up the effort by supporting
the site by paying the monthly maintenance fees after that time and here
we are today! Thank you Brent and Perk for your remarkable levels of
There are no dues and participation at the site is free to anyone that
visits and posts at Classroom Talk. Eddie and I have recently offered to
contribute to the $25. monthly maintenance fee. Perk has graciously
offered to continue to serve as financial liaison and do the business of
making the payments for the monthly fee.
We would like to ask that if any of the old-timers or anyone else that
might be looking in would like to contribute to help defray the monthly
maintenance cost please post your intentions and we will set up the
contact information. We thank you in advance, but regardless, we will
ensure that the site will remain up and available for long into the future!
Love To All,
