Hello Class:
I can certainly empathize with miss conceptions, or “fantasy
projection” as Coach has tagged them.
Where way back in mid-summer break, I made the prediction Coach would
have some helpful instruction on Eons employment search very soon. Then
again when I quickly read Douglas’s post and totally missed the
undertones Coach obviously picked up on. Likely because he was actually
saying something nice about me. And here where I as well thought the
anonymous post felt like Pauline.
And I am possibly in fantasy projection mode when I say I’ve felt
like ‘you’ Coach have been for a while before your break and here in
your reentry in a real battle with balance between self-pity and over
compensating for it. These coupled with a barrage of other personality
tact’s as well as essential qualities.
The essence of our ‘real’ Coach is very strong and forthright, while a
calm and loving kindness moves him. What the hell if no one gets this
class, [which is totally absurd] you have and will continue to do one
hell of a marvelous work here, if only through that part of your life
you have already shared with us. And that’s especially with the
demonstration and acknowledgement of your varied personality flaws,
[your own humanness]. And if you don’t thank that it is as valuable and
important for you to receive and grow from all this you’ve slipped into
your own little self-pity/self- exalted delusion. I know these are very
strong words, but I to have felt “very” strong under-tones of
resignation, if not depression even before you took your break. So if
you choose to quit we all loose. But maybe possibly you more than any
of us, I don’t know which one you are to decide. But if you want my
take on it, {or even if you don’t, obviously, he he} Your still growing
to, just like the rest of us. And Coach who are you to “judge” what
benefit you have been to others?
Now sense my “little believer” wants to shower you with the highest
exaltation and praise, for all you are and will continue to be I’ll
just stop and say one simple thing.
You do a “GOOD WORK” here Coach.
Love
lou
PS I wrote this over a week ago [with the exception of a few
added words, which you’ll notice are current with what I read today]
and had chosen not to post it until I gave myself some time to consider
it. As you see it was not only the new comer that felt these
undertones, which I believe still being fairly new, yet over a year
participating have had a fair amount of “flow” with what goes on around
here.
Identifying with insanity is always a very potential pit-fall when
dealing at this level of inner work, whether that be of our own
personality or that of others. But one thing is for certain no one can
draw or receive help from another until they are ready to look within
themselves without the strenuous ‘need’ to defend ones own personality.
A Coach, a teacher, or just a friend, or classmate cannot be taped in
their essence by personality, no matter how much the other wishes to
give them. For it is, or must be some kind-a esoteric law, that one can
never pore ‘shine’ into the old mason jar while the Leeds still screwed
on tight? That would be alcohol abuse [hee-hee!] Please forgive my
levity for those of you that are more truly familiar with the grave
tragedies surrounding alcoholism. Yet I believe my point has became
crystal clear.
