Thanks Coach
Posted by Rakesh Sharma on October 11, 2001 at 10:36:43:

Hi Coach,

I write this especially to thank you and our friends here. It was
through one of the postings here that I became aware of Tolle's The
Power of Now. By a strange coincidence the book landed on my table last
Sunday. I have just finished it.

It was a great experience, as all along I repeatedly felt the suchness
of our Coach in Tolle's writings. Not to belittle Tolle but just to say
that (a) I was able to spot the essential unity and (b) that I
repeatedly woke up to the fact that the book would have made little
sense had it not been for the coaching I received here; had it not been
for some very fine postings here like the one on depression.

And one more thing: Tolle too comes from love, but Coach your cup
overflows. (The naughty, discriminating mind.)

Could not do better with words. But I am sure you have tuned in to the
flow of piousness wafting from this side.

(A bit cultural specific this, I guess, so let me explain in how high
an esteem a teacher is held in Indian traditions, since dead though --
as per a Sanskrit Shloka (verse) if a choice is to be made bettween God
and Teacher, one must prefer the teacher. Why? Because if God is
annoyed you can seek the good offices of the teacher. But if your
teacher is annoyed with you, even God cannot help.)

Best Regards
Rakesh
