Hi Rakesh,

This time last year I spent a month in India landing in New Delhi,

travelling to Rishikesh, Agra, Jaipur, then flew to Madras and visited

Ramana Maharshi's ashram. A Very colorful, sometimes bizarre (good

bizarre) journey to my unaccustomed eyes.

>>> (e.g. "Oh that Guru, We were

the first one to meet him" -- I hope to have conveyed the sense of it).

Yes. I found myself questioning my fellow travellers a bit.....(in my

head) ...Are you here because the accomodation/meals are so cheap or

here (at ashram) for the 'silence'

I was totally fascinated by temple worship.....noisy yet reverant.

>>Currently there are 2 full-time religious satellite channels which run

30-minute discourses by various gurus round the clock.

I missed these .....might catch them next time.

I like this

>>"Johanniji has "opened those eyes."

and I wholeheartedly agree.

>>Hope to have painted a small sketch of India.

Very much so. Thanks. On a first time visit to your fascinating country

there is so much to take in. My eyes actually got tired 'looking'. I

also felt a great acceptance within people towards self, life and

others.

L

Pauline.
